My fiancé and I have been going a little crazy of late. How? Well, mainly with book purchases. It seems every store we step into either has a fantastic sale on, or we’re finding gems at second-hand stores.
No, this isn’t internet fanfiction, but an actual published novel. Today, I was checking through a friend’s book collection when I came across this gem: Star Trek: The Next Generation / X-Men: Planet X. It’s something I had never heard of before, and I needed to read it.
Last year, I received On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft for Christmas, but haven’t had a chance to sit with it. I picked it up a few nights ago, and I’m struggling to put it down – so much so I’d skip work to carry on reading it.
Today is quite an exciting day for me. Not only have I purchased my first two Star Trek novels, but these are the first novels in my collection based on a TV series. Okay, so I do own comics based on movies, etc., but not TV shows.
